  • Running hours, service history and last service records
  • Alarm codes, photos or short video of the fault
  • Hydraulic schematics, hose specifications or part numbers
  • Manuals and parts lists, if on board

Electrical, automation & AV/IT

Power distribution, monitoring and control, plus networks, connectivity and guest entertainment.

  • Shore power, transformers and converters
  • Switchboards, battery banks and chargers
  • Alarm, monitoring, automation and PLC faults
  • Lighting, interior and exterior
  • Onboard network, Wi-Fi, satellite and 4G/5G connectivity
  • Audio-visual and entertainment systems
  • CCTV and access control
  • Software updates and system health checks

What to prepare

  • Electrical drawings / single-line diagram and network diagram
  • The yacht’s shore power requirement (voltage, phase, amps, frequency)
  • Equipment list with models and serial numbers
  • Fault logs or screenshots
  • Service provider and contract details
  • Remote-access arrangements, agreed with the captain or ETO
  • Guest schedule, so work can be timed around it
