Singapore’s climate has two monsoon seasons separated by two inter-monsoon periods.1 Each brings different winds and rainfall, which matter for passages and outdoor work.

Planning technical work. Painting, varnish and teak work need dry weather, so allow extra days in the wetter months. Engine-room, electrical and AV/IT work can carry on in any season.

Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix, 9–11 October 2026, with road closures around Marina Centre from 7 to 13 October. Book berths early.

The Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix is held on the Marina Bay Street Circuit, with the race on the evening of Sunday 11 October.3 Roads around Marina Centre and the Padang close from 7 to 13 October for set-up and removal.4 Grand Prix Season Singapore runs citywide events from 2 to 11 October.5
If the yacht will be in Singapore during race week, request berths early and schedule parts deliveries and contractor access around the road closures.
